What is Lifetime Jewellery Warranty?

Lifetime Jewellery Warranty is a guarantee that the product has been produced in the highest quality standards and any possible defects in the original design or workmanship will be covered by the manufacturer for a lifetime.

What does Lifetime Warranty cover?

- Errors in the original product design
- Errors in the used materials (such as metal type or color)
- Functional defects arising from workmanship

What are Jewellery Protection Plans?

Jewellery Protection Plans are extended service plans providing you with additional services that are not covered by the standard Lifetime Warranty. These plans enable a broader protection for your jewellery in addition to your Lifetime Warranty

What is the difference between Lifetime Jewellery Warranty and Protection Plans?

Each INCOLUX product is provided with a Lifetime Warranty plan, which covers any manufacturer’s defects but it does not cover routine maintenance of the product and/or damages that occur as a result of normal wear and tear in time, misuse or accidents. There is no additional charge for Lifetime Warranty.

Protection plans, on the other hand, cover maintenance requirements or damages resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse or accidents. There is an additional charge for these plans, depending on the selected coverage option.

How many types of protection plans are available?

We offer two protection plans with different coverage levels.

Is it mandatory to select a protection plan?

No, protection plans are not mandatory; however, you may select one of the available options if you prefer having extended coverage for your jewellery.

What is the difference between the Extended Protection Plan and Extended + Protection Plan?

The difference between the two plans is the coverage level of the provided services. The Extended Protection Plan allows you to receive maintenance services after your 60-day return period, while the Extended+ Protection plan provides you with broader maintenance services including reproduction and stone replacement.

What is the cost of the Protection Plans?

The cost depends on your choice of product and the level of coverage. You can view the cost of the selected plan and add it to your order during checkout.

Is the return shipment fee included in my Protection Plan?

Yes, it is. When you return your product to be serviced under your Protection Plan, we provide you with a shipping label and you don’t pay for the return shipment.

How to use the Protection Plans?

All you need to do is to follow our regular return procedure and describe your request covered in your protection plan. Your subscription to the protection plan will be available in our system and your product will be serviced accordingly.

How to renew the Protection Plan?

Extended protection plans are available only for the selected time period and they cannot be renewed

What if I decide to return my product for a refund?

If you return your product that meets all the return conditions (returned within the 60 days of delivery, in its original unused condition and with its product tag on) we refund your protection plan fee as well.

Can I use another jeweller’s services for basic maintenance while I have my protection plan?

Both the Lifetime Warranty Plan and the Protection Plans are void in case of a third party modification. Please do not get your product serviced elsewhere.

The Description of the Services

• Manufacturer’s Defects: The errors in the original product design and defects arising from faulty metals or workmanship are considered as manufacturer’s defects.
• Ring Resizing: We offer one-time free resizing only within the first 60 days following the delivery of your order. We are unable to provide ring sizing services after this period. The Extended Protection Plans allow you to return your ring for resizing even after 60 days.
• Restoring Rhodium Plating, Polishing and Finishing: With regular use, the metal of your jewellery loses its luster; your ring finish or rhodium plating (if available) may fade away in time. Your jewellery is polished and/or gets its finish or rhodium plating restored free of charge, with this service covered by our protection plans.
• Removing Tarnish and Patina: No matter what the metal of your jewellery is, it may tarnish or take on patina depending on how it’s been used. This service covers the removal of any dirt, tarnish, patina or oxidation.
• Repair of broken jewellery (with no missing parts): Your jewellery may break due to impact, misuse or accidents. This service covers the repair of broken parts, as long as there are no missing parts of the jewellery and the gemstones on it (if available) are still intact.
• Diamond, Gemstone and Pearl Maintenance: Your diamond lasts forever but it requires special care to keep its spark. Gemstones and pearls are also very delicate and they must be cleaned so that they will keep their natural beauty for a long time. Diamond, Gemstone and Pearl Maintenance service covers the cleaning of the stones and pearls on your jewellery.
• Securing Stones (non-prong settings): Stones on non-prong jewellery settings may become loose in time and this may cause them to fall off. The stones on nonprong settings are secured to keep them in-place.
• Prong tightening: The prongs of your jewellery may get caught on clothes and bent, or they become loose in time, causing the stone to fall out. The prongs of your jewellery are tightened with this service.
• Repair of damaged settings: The damaged ring head or the setting on your jewellery is repaired.
• Reshaping: Your ring may start losing its shape due to curves and dents caused by daily use. This service covers the reshaping of any crooked jewellery.
• Repair of chains, clasps, earring backs, cufflink backs: Chains on jewellery may get caught somewhere and snap, the bracelet or chain clasps may get damaged as a result of frequent use. Earring and cufflink backs may get loose or damaged as a result of normal wear & tear. This service covers the repair of any damages arising from such incidents.
• Replacement of damaged or missing stones up to 2.5 mm/apiece: Any damaged or missing gemstone up to 2.5mm is replaced at no cost. The total number of the replaced stones during the plan cannot exceed the number of the stones used on the jewellery.
• Replacement of damaged or missing pearls: Damaged or missing pearls are replaced at no cost. The total number of the replaced pearls during the plan cannot exceed the number of the pearls used on the jewellery.
• Repair of damaged enamel, onyx, ceramic, leather, wood or carbon parts: The enamel, onyx, ceramic, leather, wood or carbon parts of your jewellery may get damaged as a result of normal wear & tear, misuse or accidents. We repair and/or restore these parts under the extended protection plans.
• Replacement of damaged or missing center stone: Any type or size center stone is replaced at no cost. This service is limited to one time only during the protection period and covered only in the Extended+ Protection Plan.
• Reproduction of broken jewellery (with no missing parts): Your jewellery may break due to impact, misuse or accidents. If the repair of broken parts is not possible, your jewellery is reproduced as long as there are no missing parts of it and the stones (if available) are still intact. This service is limited to one time only during the protection period and covered only in the Extended+ Protection Plan.
• Free engraving after delivery: Engraving is a free service at the time of the order; however, we don’t provide this service afterwards. One time free engraving after delivery is covered in the Extended+ Protection Plan.
• Monetary refund after 60 days of delivery: You are provided with a 60-day return policy for your jewellery. Protection plans do not provide rights to return the item for a refund after the 60-day return period.
• Store credit after 60 days of delivery: You are provided with a 60-day return policy for your jewellery and store credit is one of our refund options. Protection plans do not provide rights to return the item for store credit after the 60-day return period.
• Loss or theft: Your jewellery will be insured against any damage or loss during the shipment of your order from our facilities to your address; however the Protection plans do not cover the loss or theft incidents after the delivery. You may contact an insurance company if this is a service that you would like to have.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The protection plans remain in effect for the selected time period after the delivery of the product.
• The protection plans cannot be transferred to other people, other orders or products.
• The protection plan fee cannot be used for other services.
• The protection plan fee cannot be turned into cash or store credit.
• Free ring resizing is available only one time a year during the protection period.
• The free center stone replacement is limited to one time only during the selected period of the protection plan.
• Stone replacements up to 2.5mm are limited to the total number of the stones (2.5mm/apiece) on the jewellery. The number of the replaced stones during the plan cannot exceed the total number of the stones used on the jewellery.
• The services under the protection plans only cover the repair or restoration of the product features originally selected in the order and they don’t include changing them to other product options such as different types of stone, metal, metal color, width, thickness or ring finish.
• Replacement of missing jewellery parts is not covered by the protection plans. Any broken parts must be returned along with the product to benefit from the free repair services.
• The protection plans do not cover the loss or theft.
• The repair process may take around 25 business days for performing the procedures covered under the protection plans.
• The protection plans are valid only at the time of purchase and they cannot be purchased separately.
• The protection plans are void in the case the product has been serviced, repaired or modified by a 3rd party
