Today I'm going to be reviewing the Rolex Datejust 36 reference one two six two three one rose gold, white mother-of-pearl on Jubilee bracelet. I wanna talk to you guys about the case, the bezel, the dial, the bracelet, try it on and give you my thoughts. Let's dive right in. It's a Datejust 36. That means from my thumb to my index finger. Rolex makes their Datejust in 28, 31, 36 and 41 millimeter. So this 36 can be either worn by a woman who likes to wear large watches or a man who has a smaller wrist and likes to wear smaller watches. So this watch is really the bridge between large and small watches for different sexes. So I would urge you guys to go try this watch on at your authorized dealer and obviously come back to Jaztime to buy it at the lowest price anywhere online. As I said before, the case is stainless steel. That means this part right here. And if you look at the thickness of it it's quite thin, around 12.3 millimeters in terms of thickness and it's a monoblock middle case with a screw-down case back and winding crown. Now Rolex calls this material Everose Rolesor. What does that mean? It's basically a combination of stainless steel and 18 carat rose gold or pink gold. Rolex calls it Everose gold because it's forever rose gold. Now Rolex has their own gold foundries where they mix and produce this gold. So they make this rose gold with bronze in it, but they actually have a patent on this Everose. And why do they have it is because the way that they make their Everose, it lasts rose gold, pink gold forever. It won't fade. It'll always look rose gold. Now some other companies do that and it doesn't look rose gold, which is why Rolex calls their pink gold Everose gold as in forever. Okay. Now let's move on to the bezel. The bezel is fluted. That means it has these little cuts in them all the way around and it shines very spectacularly in different light. They also make this with a domed bezel but by and large, the fluted bezel as you see it here is the more popular of the two and it's also the more expensive of the two. And of course it's in 18 karat rose gold. Okay. Continuing on the rose goldness of this entire watch because this watch is steel and rose gold. Okay. Now let's move on to the dial. The dial is very special in that this is a white mother-of-pearl. And what does that mean? Well, it's actually a pearl. It came from a shell. It is part of the shell and it's extracted from the sea. I think that's pretty interesting to have a pearl and every pearl is different. It has a different color, intensity, structure and it's all actually lends to the mysteriousness and surprise of this dial. In fact, the dial, if you look at it in different lights as I'm turning it here, it can be pink, it can be white, it can be black, it can be yellow. It can be all of those things. It's a white mother-of-pearl but it has different shades of all those different things. And since we're talking about the dial what you'll notice else about this is that the hands themselves are also in rose gold. The surrounds of these diamonds which are perfect by the way probably D color flawless are also encased in rose gold. So the watch has continuity throughout and this dial is really the most expensive dial that you can get for this configuration. And so it's really the top and Rolex of course only makes the very best diamonds, the very best pearl, the very best gold. And of course the very best watch. It's got rose gold going down the center and stainless steel on the edges. And it has this interesting new feature which is a folding oyster clasp with five millimeter comfort extension. What does all that mean? Well, before the old reference number did not have this. The comfort extension goes like that. You open it up and it has a comfort extension on the back of it. Before on the old reference number one one six two three one, it did not have this oyster clasp. Now, some people have complained and said they like the concealed clasp as opposed to the folding oyster clasp. I got to tell you, I disagree. And I think Rolex with its infinite amount of money also agrees with me, or rather I agree with them. It gives this watch more symmetry. It has a head body and tail. Before it didn't have this buckle which kind of gave it a little bit of asymmetry. It looked more like a bracelet. And it didn't have a five millimeter comfort extension which I think is quite helpful because you could use that when your arm expands or contracts depending on the situation. Like if you're in an air conditioned room or if you're outside. So I think that really helps its functionality which is probably why Rolex added that on its 36 millimeters and plus it looks good. All right. So let's talk about the movement. It's a caliber three, two, three, five. It's precise to plus minus two seconds a day. And it has a power reserve of 70 hours. It's basically different from the old movement which is a 31 35, although you can't see it. You know, it is different. It's kind of like changing your car from a four cylinder to a six cylinder. It's just a vastly improved movement. It's more precise and it has a longer power reserve. Now I said at the beginning of this video I'd tell you a little bit I forgot to tell you about this case. The case on this newer reference number is thinner. It has a thinner profile here. So that's one of the differences why you should buy the newer one because it's sleeker and it looks better. Okay. As I told you at the beginning of this video I would tell you my thoughts. My thoughts are that this is a very excellent watch. In fact, we sell this watch quite often and I really like rose gold. Rose gold is really making a I don't know if you can call it a comeback, but it's- Rose gold is doing very well. And why? Well, yellow gold is a little too much for some people and stainless steel is not enough for some people. So rose gold really bridges that gap. It's not as flashy as yellow. Yellow is just like, boom, right in your face. Rose gold is a little bit more subtle. So some people enjoy that. And of course, if you enjoy that please go to jaztime.com and buy it. As far as the dial configuration. I love the dial configuration. I believe. What other product do you have that came from the sea? Probably none at least that you're wearing on your person. Aside from maybe a pearl, a seashell, I don't know. I mean, so you can actually have a pearl that existed in the ocean on your wrist beautifully done by Rolex all for just less than $20,000. So I think it's quite a good deal if you ask me. And it has all the parts that you want which is the fluted bezel which is iconic. The bracelet which is also iconic. And at 36 millimeters. Now, some people might be wondering should I get this 36 millimeter if I'm a man? Well, that depends on how it fits on you which is why I said at the beginning of this video, go try on the watch at your authorized dealer and then come back to jaztime to buy it because 36 millimeter is actually a very good size for a man. I have an average man's wrist of 7.5. And does it look big on me or small me? No, it actually looks perfect on me. If you asked me it looks, it's a very good size. Now, if you're a woman, it is going to look large. So do you like large watches? Do you want to wear a large watch? A watch that completely covers your wrist? If you do, well this would be the king of the heap. Now, as far as like wearing this watch or my thoughts on it, well, some people have also considered the all gold. Now my thoughts on the all gold are I would probably not get one if you're going to wear it for everyday use. Why? Because all gold scratches and it's more flashy and it stretches. So over time, the watch that will probably get more wrist time would be a steel and gold. That's why I suggest to most customers to buy steel and gold because it combines both sturdiness as well as luxury into one watch, which is the rose gold and steel or yellow gold and steel so that's why I suggest wearing that for every day. Now, if you want a watch that you're going to be wearing out to just parties and you want to look super fancy, sure. By all means, all gold. But if you're looking to wear this watch every day I would definitely suggest steel and yellow gold or steel and rose gold, which is what this one is.
